My client is looking for an Embedded Engineer (C, C++) permanently. This is a hybrid role with an excellent flexible working model. Ideally, you will come from an automotive background. Competitive package on offer that includes pension and bonus.

Key Requirements:

• You will have 5+ years working as an embedded software engineer
• You will be an expert in C and C++ programming languages
• You will have a strong working background with GIT
• You will have a strong understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems, with experience in FreeRTOS preferred.
• You will have excellent knowledge of Linux as an operating system for embedded systems.
• Exposure to AWS is a bonus

Responsibilities:

• You will develop and maintain embedded firmware for various systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
• You will contribute to the development of desktop applications primarily using C, C++, and STL.
• You may utilize Python for bug fixing and automation tasks as needed.
• You may develop automation scripts using Bash for various tasks as needed.
• You will utilize MFC for desktop application development
• You will collaborate with the team to manage critical server infrastructure using Atlassian tools and Git.

Education

• B.S or M.S or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
